Blue marlin fish

The blue marlin fish is dark blue on the back and silvery white on the underside. It has an elongated body covered with scales, two dorsal fins, the first larger, and an elongated upper jaw in the shape of a sword. The blue marlin uses this beak to stun its prey by cutting the head from side to side, rendering potential prey unconscious and facilitating its capture. The blue marlin fish eats a wide variety of prey throughout its life, be it squid or fairly large fish.
