Hawksbill turtle


The hawksbill turtle has a flat body, these are very good swimmers since their fins are perfectly adapted to their shell. They can reach speeds of 15 milles per hour and can dive up to 230 ft for more than 80 minutes. In its adult stage, the measurement of its shell is between 24-40 inches long and its weight is around 155 pounds. They are yellow to light brown in color. Their shape at birth is heart-shaped but with the step of their development they end up obtaining an oval shape.
