Blue marlin


The blue Marlin fish is characterized as its name says by being dark blue on the back and silvery white on the belly, it is covered with scales and has an elongated body. One of its features that differentiates it from other fish is its elongated sword-shaped jaw. It uses it to attack its prey by piercing them through the head from side to side, rendering them unconscious to facilitate their capture. The blue marlin fish also feed on other species such as squid and crustaceans.
